PUBLIC SAFETY DIVING

Steel City Scuba is the only shop in the area offering a comprehensive Public Safety Diving Certification that goes above and beyond PADI requirements to provide you with the real life skills you will need to be a Public Safety Diver!

The Public Safety Diver Course is tailored to your level of experience. You can become a PSD if you are brand new to diving or if you already have certifications. 

​

At the end of this course, you could have as many as 14 certifications and up to 4 Non PADI Certifications! More Details Below.

Take This Course If You

  • Work in search and rescue

  • Work for or volunteer at a Fire Department

  • Are an EMT or 1st Responder of any sort

  • Work with local authorities

  • Want to be part of a rescue team

  • Want to assist in underwater search and rescue operations  

PADI Public Safety Diver Course Meets
